It i= s=20 PLENTY powerful enough for datamodes - in fact currently I'm typing this=20 email and running ROS concurrently, as well as, at times, connecting to i= t=20 via VNC from my Android phone so I can watch the ROS screen from elsewher= e=20 in the house. Can't recommend one highly enough. It has an Atom CPU=20 1.66GHz and 2GB RAM. It's a bit old, and no longer available, but that=20 only means that the newer hardware on the market will be more capable=20 still. The only downside is that some software is written without the=20 ability to alter the window sizes (ROS for example - although it has the=20 choice of 1024x600, which is okay, if you don't want the waterfall).
