Wow, what a discussion. Havent read all the comments so far but just a 
short answer to Minto:

There must have been a misunderstanding. I did not say that only a choke 
without grounding is a good solution.
The antenna must be grounded at the far end too(garden, pole), as we all 
say.

Maybe its better to do the discussion on the band, in a nice and long CW 
QSO! Full BK would be useful i think ;-) This bewares us to write longer 
and longer mails, commenting the comments and add new issues that will 
be commented later, hi.

Better spending the time for practical experiments.
