Tell us about your=20 rig! Where did the TX power come from? A battery? Must have been a big=20 battery or you must have had very low losses. Transmitting during the night could be an interesting point. I could try=20 to use the 100m kite antenna on 8970 Hz as well. Then, no special permit=20 would be needed but my signal would be 10 dB lower. Anyway this could be=20 interesting. Or i could try night transmissions on the fixed antenna.... Happy to see more activity here again! :) 73, Stefan/DK7FC Am 20.06.2011 08:22, schrieb Chris 4X1RF: > Hello Markus, VLF, > Stormy weather in YO yesterday evening but looks like there's a trace=20 > of your signal in the DFCW6000 window:=20 > http://dl.dropbox.com/u/10280270/yograbber_DF6NM_19jun2011_DFCW6000_897= 0.jpg > Well done! > 73s > Chris 4X1RF > On Mon, Jun 20, 2011 at 12:34 AM, Markus Vester > wrote: > > Thanks Stefan for forwarding this message! Hello Markus, VLF,

Stormy weather in YO yesterday evening but looks like there's a trace of your signal in the DFCW6000 window: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/10280270/yograbber_DF6NM_19jun2011_DFCW6000_8970.jpg

Well done!

Looks like there might even be a hint at Haldór's grabber...

Best regards,
Markus

Daer VLF group,

To my very (!!) surprise i just found a big trace on my VLF grabber in the DFCW-600 window! See http://www.iup.uni-heidelberg.de/schaefer_vlf/DK7FC_VLF_Grabber.html

This is Markus/DF6NM! I just found his Mail after seeing the trace. See his mail below that semed to be blocked by the reflector.

And watch your grabbers for Markus' signal! He is visible well in DFCW-60 here as well!!! Very well done, i'm impressed!

Following up Stefan's excellent activity yesterday, I have decided to make use of the fine wind and weather and launch my little kite again. I am on 8970.002 since about 19:00, and intend to stay on for a couple of hours. My estimated EMRP is currently about 1 mW.

Best regards,
Markus (DF6NM)
