Has the PA a fault or have you just switched it off? Apart from the directional antenna of Paul Nicholson (which has some gain and so the ability to reduce the noise) i think a main difference and advantage for him is the QTH. In north UK there seems to be much less QRN compared to central EU! Furthermore he is relatively outside in the landscape, not in the center of a city. I do not think that the high quality sound card he is using makes the difference, at least at 8970 Hz. Regarding noise, TF3HZ must be in an even better situation. 73, Stefan/DK7FC Am 06.06.2011 10:44, schrieb uwe-jannsen@kabelmail.de: > > ZAP at 0835UTC > > uwe/dj8wx > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > Von: rsgb_lf_group@blacksheep.org > Gesendet: 05.06.2011 22:31 > An: rsgb_lf_group@blacksheep.org > Betreff: LF: 8970.022Hz > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > > *Hi all, > > Im testing a new DJ PA. > carrier on 8970.022Hz. > seems the PA doesnt like high frequencies. > we will see. > > GL > Uwe/dj8wx* --------------090208040006080502060003 Content-Type: text/html; charset=windows-1252 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit ZAP?
