The signal shows as, maybe 3 traces in the DFCW6000 window almost like a ringing. Maybe someone can explain this. It may be a function of FFT and related to another phenomenon, visible in my DFCW6000 window. This takes the form of a 'vapour trail' following the switch off of a transmission. This is seen after the strong G3XIZ signal on 8.976662kHz. I did think on previous occasions that this was an optical illusion, our eye wanting to see a line. I am pretty sure that the signal doesn't correlate the noise over the signal path with some lasting effect:-) 73 Eddie G3ZJO
