There are problems on each frequency. If we move 6 Hz up, others will have problems at 8976 Hz. We've got a good demonstration of that "simply QSY a bit" on the EU window on 137 kHz..

And 8976 Hz is closer to 9000 Hz where some stations have problems due to LF BCD stations, producing sidebands +-10...20...30 Hz
