At least you could see my line :-) we must suspect that there was a couple of stable carriers within the time frame of OK2BVG, maybe not that stable hence the fuzz. Well I wasn't convinced. Spoil the fun, no way, thank you for your observation, I read Paul's early query about 2 carriers and took the 80uHz as Lubos' signal, my line is in that region. At least you could see my line=A0 :-) we must suspect that there was a couple of stable carriers within the time frame of OK2BVG, maybe not that stable hence the fuzz.
Well I wasn't convinced. We are learning all this 8.9k at this end, feel free to spot the deliberate misconceptions: O:-)

congratulations on the second reception by Paul Nicholson. Together with=A0OE3GHB, this must be the record detection distance=A0from a non-airborne home=A0antenna.

Eddie, I don't want to be the= one who spoils the fun, but I'm quite sure that the weak trace in your capture is too close to 8970 to=A0possibly match up with Lubos. Uwe's=A0clear trac= e on your other screenshot verifies that your calibration is perfect. On the other hand, the trace on=A0Gerhard's calibrated grabber shows=A0that Lubos actually transmitted just below - 5 mHz, matching up with Paul.

Hello Wolf
Yes Paul made Lubos' frequency a little lower than 8.970kHz, I measured my noisy line merely with the cross hairs at 8.96999863kHz. I am still not convinced.

Hello Stefan, Lubos, and the group,

For those who haven't seen this in the Yahoo VLF group yet:

Lubos' signal has been identified by Paul in Todmorden, range is 1423km

http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/VLF_Group/message/17540
Congrats to all involved !
