Tnx ur msg
A good time I find for TA is around 2230 - 0200= utc=20 signals build up before this time and then taper off and then peak again= in the=20 morning before my sunrise. The best freq for the USA observers is 136.318= =20 plus/minus. but you can make arrangements with them about your=20 plans=A0and=A0for their suggestions. You should have no trouble making a= =20 TA contact with your strong signal.
Keep the QSO as short as possible with just the= essential=20 information and be prepared to reduce speed if necessary to maybe qrs30 if= condx=20 are poor.
I have been successful recently on the TA path= under=20 variable conditions, being observed but did not QSO.
I was able to make it last evening to 4X1RF with= QSO=20 quality signal. Your signal was also strong in Haifa
=A0
Good luck with the DX

Good morning Mal
Thank you for the information. The wh= ole=20 evening I've been sitting at the SW-stations on 160m at the second= tower (188m=20 high), HB9DUL, Iacopo was operating the LF-Station. He told me, that we= have=20 made a QSO with ES5AM. His signal here was very strong in QRSS3.
Last=20 Sunday I had already a QSO with RN3AGC. 2350km at noon over a land path,= not=20 bad. I don't think, we have a receiver problem. Rather a TX problem,= hi.=20
Now we would like to do the final step: A transatlantic QSO - I mean= a=20 real QSO, no beaconing. I think we should arrive at the East coast more= or=20 less at noise level, so we should be readable in QRSS3. On the receive= side,=20 we can go as long as needed. Are there powerful stations over there or= just=20 listeners or the so called grabbers?

HE3OM will be QRV until the= end of=20 the month. So we still have two weekends. Then its over for the=20 crocodile.
