I suppose the same considerations apply to stray capacitances? For example, connecting to the 30-350pF tuning capacitor by using a twisted pair of wires (10cm long) or running the same wires as separate as possible from each other has no relevance. Correct? Dear Daniele, LF Group,

The main effect of the twisted wires will be to add a small, fixed amount of capacitance - of the order of several pF for 10cm of wire. There will also be a slight increase in loss if PVC insulated wire is used, but probably only detectable at the upper end of the tuning range. If you are twisting the wires together for screening purposes, it would be better to use a short length of coax.

Many thanks to Petr and Marco for their replies.
I suppose the same considerations apply to stray capacitances? For example,
connecting to the 30-350pF tuning capacitor by using a twisted pair of wires
(10cm long) or running the same wires as separate as possible from each other
has no relevance. Correct?
