In the UK we would be locked up as suspected= terrorists! Having a few watts VLF piggyback a water pipe connected to my central heat= ing radiators sounds as if it should be more legitimate. After all, we us= e such connections often as the ground systems for verticals. This raises the question about the legality of putting VLF signals along= utilities - is this actually permitted? After all, there are intercoms an= d data systems that intentionally use the mains electricity wiring. Anyone= know what IS permitted? 73s Roger Via my 2.4GHz handheld (iPod Touch 4g) On 4 Feb 2011, at 23:10, Stefan Sch=C3=A4fer wrote: > Jacek, >=20 > Am 04.02.2011 23:58, schrieb Jacek Lipkowski: >>=20 >> btw. i have an international gas pipeline nearby: http://en.wikipedia.o= rg/wiki/Yamal%E2%80%93Europe_pipeline >> opportunity for dx maybe? :) >=20 > At least it would be a good radial for a VLF antenna ;-) Dou you think= there is a conductive (metallic) contact up to north Russia?
