Hi Mike and LF

Thanks for the report. Yes very poor isn't it. It's a circuit I copied out=
 of=20
the RSGB=A0LF Experimenter's Handbook. Very disappointing. It uses xtal fr=
equency=20
difference.=A0It's a pity because on paper it looks like=A0a good idea. Al=
l bits are=20
high stab. as well!

I am running very QRP about a couple of Watts into a 600mm dia loading coi=
l and=20
variometer into a inv "L" Up 12m abt 35m lng far end up 4m (temporary), 80=
m per=20
leg=A0"H" ground system.

Today after another frustrating period doing=A0various mods I have come to=
 the=20
conclusion that this=A0design will never work properly. Another=A0page to=
 tear out=20
of the book!

Audible 16miles away great!=A0

I have an 8.8 meg rock to divide by 64 which may give better results. This=
=20
should be on tomorrow some time.=A0
