I prefe= r large wire antennas with plenty of capture area. Although small loops and probes work they are no match for the larger= resonant antennas. I tried a commercial small loop with amplifier but it was about 3 S po= ints down against my LF and MF inv L wire antennas. Small antennas are useful for restricted space otherwise get as much= wire into the air as possible.
