those who prefer to use units that were decommissioned in 1960 (when the=

), Watt (James Watt) and so on ...

In the electronic context.
There are CYCLES, KILOCYCLES and MEGACYCLES all related to FREQUENCY of
OCCURENCE and can be observed on a 'Scope for example but what does a HERT=
Z
look like.
Hertz is a meaningless label in fact its someones Name and is technically
inapproapriat when describing Frequency.
Rumour has it that one EU member state wants a RESISTOR renamed BANSHEE
