So if its 10 dB stronger with the balloon,=20 copy of QRSS/DFCW-600 would be no problem, at least arround 8...16 UTC. Gerhards signal is well visible at 8970.00 too, the 35 mHz frequency=20 shift appears on my 424 uHz / DFCW-6000 window in the moment. I am still comparing two different antenna locations: The "old" one that= =20 runs the VLF grabber at=20 http://www.iup.uni-heidelberg.de/schaefer_vlf/DK7FC_VLF_Grabber.html and the new antenna (separated active antenna, using 30m TP cable, 20m=20 higher distance to the tram line (QRM source)), running a 2nd "6000"=20 window at=20 http://www.iup.uni-heidelberg.de/schaefer_vlf/DK7FC_VLF_Grabber2.html An overview over the last days Austrian VLF transmissions seems to show=20 a slightly better SNR so i change the replace the old antenna by the new= =20 one for all VLF windows. Tnx to OE5ODL and OE3GHB for generating signals= =20 that allow comparing both antennas under practical situations.
