Who is the next distant well equipped RX station? I have extended my "DFCW-6000"-window at http://www.iup.uni-heidelberg.de/schaefer_vlf/DK7FC_VLF_Grabber2.html by a 8972 Hz window. Actually my FFT input size was as high that i recorded (just not displayed) that frequency during your transmission. But there was no reception here in JN49IK. Maybe some dB's are missing but you are already well outside of the near field and even above 1 lambda! so now it gets exciting! :-) 73 and good luck! LF,

I shall be back to work on Tuesday so tomorrow is my last chance for VLF
transmissions for a while.

I have added a crystal oven to stabilize the frequency which is at present
8.972 220 kHz

I shall try transmitting tomorrow from 09.00Z - weather and balloons permitting.
