be careful.=20
I have a 220W ATX PSU in front of me: the +12V is rated 14A, but the -12V=
 only 0.5A.
But maybe 2 computer PSU's (with the 12V output made floating) can deliver=
 24V at > 10A.

Hello Horst!

The cheapest way is to obtain 2 computer-power supplies from the
junk-yard (=3D for free). Then you have to open both, disconnect the
negative supply from earth-potential (but of course NOT disconnecting
the earth from chassis!!!) and connect the 12V supplies in series.

This is simple and cheap!
