Dear VLF,

All right now about the netbook supply. The netbook= takes 1.1 A at 12.5V when running SpecLab! :-)
Yesterday i successful= ly tested a new SpecLab version which allows longer DFCW element lengths.= For better ID of the 24h transmission i will use this version and transmi= t a "K" in DFCW-28800, so 8 hours per element. DFCW-shift will= be 5 mHz. The dash will appear at 8970.0100 Hz and the dot at 8970.0050= Hz. TX power will be kept constant (not a function of the battery voltage= ) at arround 100 W. I am using several fuses to prevent any faults ;-) If= the carrier will be OFF befor the 24 hours i have to look if the forest= is burning ;-)
I plan to start the transmission at today, about 16 UTC.

= Any reports are highly appreciated. But you know, the signal is VERY weak= . Furthermore the radiation pattern of the antenna is still unknown...
