Most time, the sferics are dominating the spectrum arround 6...9 kHz, not the mains hum. Thus i think you will have a good chance to receive something in the next test! Tony/EI8JK received my signal in 1310 km at 15 dB S/N in 4.5 mHz. Your distance is not even twice that ;-) So i will take the challenge in the next experiment! Furthermore the grabber is in a quiete far location which will give us some ideas about different propagation on VLF :-) So, CU soon! 73, Stefan/DK7FC Am 21.11.2010 23:20, schrieb Chris Gomoiu: > Hello VLF enthusiasts, > > I've been working for a while on this and I think it's time to publish > my new on-line VLF grabber: http://www.qsl.net/4x1rf/vlf/vlfgrabber.htm > > For now there are three displays, a 0-24Khz wide spectrum, one for the > 33Km "dreamers band" and one for the 46Km band, refresh rate is set > for 15 minutes. > > I want to express my thanks to DK7FC for guidance and who's endless > enthusiasm can be really addictive.
