It will accept either quadrature I/Q inputs from suitable software for optimum sideband rejection, or alternatively an all pass phase shift network forms the I/Q drive for the upconverter from a single tone input in the range 1300 - 1800Hz. This can achieve 50dB sideband rejection for a single tone, or 40dB over a bandwidth of a couple of hundred Hz.
