Please indicate his equipment on 2200m. Antenna? ERP expected, and most important what does he expect to listen with? RX antenna??? etc? Is he aware of how to calibrate RX using Asia Pacific Loran lines? If he is well equipped and keen, I will be QRV for his expedition using the beacon schedule as posted on my website and JA8SCD's during mutual times of darkness and as my schedule permits. The schedule allows for lots of time to listen between transmission if QSO becomes possible. I would imagine a balloon vertical like JH1GVY's and a decent RX loop would make a QSO possible with 50-200W. Pass on my regards to the members of "The 2200m club of Japan." 73 Scott VE7TIL http://www3.telus.net/sthed/argo/ On 10/19/2010 4:50 AM, Rick Wakatori wrote: > JD1AHC will be QRV at Chijima island (IOTA AS-031) from 26 October to 3 > November 2010.
