  Today I've changed my earth electrode antenna system: instead of run=
ning the wire to the far electrode along the garden fence only about=
 1.5m in the air I've now made the wire form a loop, bringing the wire=
 up in the air some 4m, running it back to the house about 17m to the=
 top of my pole, then down 6m vertically and into the house. This mean=
s the area enclosed by the loop part in the air has increased some 3=
 to 4 times but that part within the ground between the electrodes is=
 unchanged. On 500kHz WSPR I'm ~6dB stronger with M0BMU at 69kms than=
 it was on the original earth electrode antenna.

  This evening I'm going to try 137.675kHz QRSS3 beaconing with this=
 new set-up and would appreciate reports.
