First ROS-MF-7 qso las= t night (Wednesday 16th) =A0on 137 Khz , G4WGT and G0NBD.

After a few days experimenting & bench= testing a method of driving my G0MRF Class D Tx on 136 kHz from my linear= transverter I finally constructed a harmonic amplifier producing a 272 kH= z signal from 136 kHz input. An "on-air" trial was conducted res= ulting in a QSO with Graham G0NBD on 137 kHz using ROS data mode software.=

My thanks to Graham for his ideas & last nights test.=

The mode used was ROS MF-7. The equipment us= ed for the QSO is as follows. This method should also work well using WSPR mode.=

I= (G4WGT) will=A0 be=A0 running a ROS MF-1 =A0beacon on 137.000 KHz=A0(dial= set 136.000 kHz USB) tonight (Thursday 17th). Details will be announced= near the time of start.
