Congrats to your practical experiment!! Are you still transmitting? Sorry, i did some adjustments on grabber2 (yesterday i changed something that increased the signal but decreased the SNR. Today i re-built it). Thus i have not received everything. But now i am RXing again! If you can transmit even longer, please go on until the QRN goes down! This process has already started. If you can transmit 100 minutes on 8970.00 Hz and after that 100 minutes on 8969,995 Hz, you could "write" a "N" on my DFCW-6000 window! This would be a distance of about 70 km!?* Please, what is your exact QTH?* Here you can check if you are received in Heidelberg: http://www.iup.uni-heidelberg.de/schaefer_vlf/DK7FC_VLF_Grabber2.html If you will be received, then in the DFCW-6000 window. For the "faster" windows you may need a even stronger signal. But who knows... ;-) Wish you good DX! :-) 73, Stefan Am 03.06.2010 16:39, schrieb Wolf Ostwald: > > Hi Marco ! > > Great ! Hi Marco !

Great ! You are the first station to receive my signal. There is lots left to be desired with the antenna. But I stay on it. I have rcvd mail from Markus and he will send some suggestions and calculations. Will improve the diameter and height in the next days. I wonder whether You deciphered the CW ID ???

BTW Stephan might coin an idea on how to ID on 9kc ? he at least is the grandmaster of “DS-band “ J
