A tower or (3) trees? =20 If you have a vertical part of 25m and 3x20m horizontal, you could have so= mewhat about 450 pF and would need abt 700 mH. Then i would take the same= wire as Markus and i do: 0,4mm diameter enamelled copper wire. It depends= on the money and the space you can spent for that coil! Bigger wire is hi= gher Q but also bigger dimensions, of course. Befor you begin to wind a co= il think about the HV problems due to rain. You need a water shielding! Fo= r "smaller" tests Markus's plastic pots are well suited and can handle at= least 30 kV, as it seems. But if you have low losses and a higher L and= QRO, 30 kV is nothing ;-) If you have a tower and 2kW and suited wires at the top load (maybe a ladd= er line is better than tiny single wires, just like in the german 220kV sy= stems in energy distribution to handle the corana...) you could reach 50kV= or 80kV (rms).
