Remember: When I first re= ad about experiments at 9kHz it was just a few guys that did mostly a few= 100m. Then activity stopped for years. After I asked here in the reflecto= r for some others interested in this "band", things started to move. Just= a short while for all that happened.
Many things were written about= RX, about DX with erected antenna and about my (and others) "garden fence= " experiments with small erected antennas and earth antennas. Enough for= just not waiting but do it yourself.
The earth antenna is just a kin= d of antenna. Even my marconi antenna is inducting, not just radiating.Horst DO1KHS/DI2AN

What is happe= ning on 9 kcs, some seem to be aiming for earth induced signals downward= penetration with earth rods etc while some are trying elevated antennas= for long haul.
I am interest= ed in elevated antennas long haul experiments but I think I am wasti= ng my time.
The chance of= me hearing some of these signals is non existant bar a Miracle. Informat= ion is also scarce in the UK especially about receiving capabilities, wha= t is being heard especially alpha signals, strength, audibility and gener= al band noise.
