He encounters it with the WSJT software, but it doesn't have anything to do with the application... it's more a driver problem. Strangely, I also use the E-MU myself on a 'similar' computer (Thinkpad Z61m running Win XP) and *never* had this problem even though I frequently use the E-MU. The card is always turned on when booting up (maybe this makes the difference). The driver date as reported in the windoze system control is 12.04.2006 (presumably day.month.year), driver version 5.12.1.12 . I ususally run it at 96 or 192 kHz sampling rate, using the ASIO driver. 73, Wolf .
