Hi Daniele -

I'm very pleased with the Kenwood TS850 - it cost =A3400 bu= t it means I now have a spare HF transceiver.

It is sensitive up to 504 kHz without modification (and all the way= to 30 MHz with a simple wire link). With some other (fairly easy) mo= difications it can also produce about a volt of SSB at 501 - 504 kH= z.

Hi LF,
among the so-called "communications recei= vers" (0.1-30MHz, all modes, well-known brands, etc.) in the "< 300 eur= os" price range (used, of course :-)), which models have good characterist= ics at LF frequencies?
Any recommended models (in= the same price range) outside of the "comms receivers" class?
Many thanks for your feedbacks.
Cheers
D.
