The spectrogram is normalised for uniform background. Unfortunately the message was not copied - the initial tune-up and first dash of the first K is lost because the background noise bearing is very close to the signal bearing. Here is the noise plot for the day, http://abelian.org/vlf/live/100321.9kHz.png Note the bearing of the noise between 12:00 and 13:00, and Frankfurt is on 116 deg! By 13:30 the noise had shifted far enough to copy the signal. Too bad the test was not the previous day, when noise was very low and North/South!
