Today looks like a good day - no thunderstorms in Europe, low background noise, less than 0.7fT in 5mHz this morning and it is still falling. Rx here has been recalibrated and the software improved to stabilise the frequency - it is staying mostly within 1mHz, http://abelian.org/vlf/nb.shtml 20kV RMS may just bring in a signal about equal to the noise floor here, so I wont see it. But you never know, with some favourable propagation, a cooperative D layer...I will still look :) Notes on rx calibration and frequency stabilisation here, http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/VLF_Group/message/15490 http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/VLF_Group/message/15492 -- Paul Nicholson --
