To my experience -12 to -15 dB is the limit for an audible signal (CW copy), -3dB should be OK for SSB ! I am just a bit fussed why /3 is relatively weak (on average -10dB on /6, while its ERP is 3dB more). Unless the given values are TX output power instead of ERP (in that case i can also stop wondering how to get 200W ERP without setting things on fire ;-) - unless you have a really BIG antenna). 73, Rik ON7YD - OR7T 2010-01-19 07:30 WE2XGR/6 0.511499 -3 0 FN12 100 M0LMH IO93gx 5464 49 2010-01-19 03:30 WE2XGR/6 0.511500 -4 0 FN12 100 M0BMU IO91vr 5630 51 2010-01-19 01:22 WE2XGR/6 0.511499 -4 0 FN12 100 DL-SWL JO52hp 6259 47 2010-01-19 05:58 WE2XGR/6 0.511501 -5 0 FN12 100 OR7T JO20ix 5977 51 2010-01-19 05:54 WE2XGR/6 0.511501 -10 0 FN12 100 G0KTN IO81ti 5506 52 2010-01-19 03:46 WE2XGR/2 0.511550 -10 0 FN31is 50 M0LMH IO93gx 5282 49 2010-01-19 03:36 WE2XGR/2 0.511551 -11 0 FN31is 50 M0BMU IO91vr 5437 52 2010-01-19 03:46 WE2XGR/2 0.511551 -11 0 FN31is 50 G0KTN IO81ti 5308 53 2010-01-19 03:18 WE2XGR/2 0.511550 -12 0 FN31is 50 DL-SWL JO52hp 6085 48 2010-01-19 03:58 WE2XGR/2 0.511551 -15 0 FN31is 50 OR7T JO20ix 5786 51 2010-01-19 03:06 WE2XGR/3 0.511450 -14 0 FN42ch 200 M0LMH IO93gx 5149 50 2010-01-19 02:56 WE2XGR/3 0.511452 -17 0 FN42ch 200 G0KTN IO81ti 5173 54 2010-01-19 01:58 WE2XGR/3 0.511450 -19 0 FN42ch 200 DL-SWL JO52hp 5953 48 2010-01-19 05:28 WE2XGR/3 0.511452 -21 0 FN42ch 200 OR7T JO20ix 5652 52 2010-01-19 03:50 WE2XGR/3 0.511450 -22 0 FN42ch 200 M0BMU IO91vr 5302 53
