To quote the data sheet :

"*The TX-2200A *
*lets you turn the clock back and explore long waves,*
*but with technology that the early pioneers could not*

With a CW only option and if it really is a VFO, resulting poor stability
 its just an appalingingly ludicrous joke.   And anyone buying such just
deserves the contempt they'll get using it.

LF was alwatys considered to be the last bastion of real homebrew and
experiimentation.
Rant over.

But kudos to the manufacturer if they can exploit the gullible :-)    I
wonder if its a rip-off of any designs published in the open literature
here  There have been quite a few 100 Watt 137 transmitters weblicised -=
 who
will be the first to claim his copyright infringements.

My 700 Watt Class D Tx    http://www.g4jnt.com/137tx.pdf  probably would
cost in the region of =A330 - =A340 buying most of the components, but wit=
hout
the DDS driver.  Never really priced it as new - everything came from the
junkbox.
