It seems to me that there are several different requirements for a transmi= tter for 136 kHz, depending upon what any individual needs. Being able to= generate 1 kW is not always necessary. One thing that struck me about th= is unit is that the power level can be varied over a considerable range.= When setting up an antenna and its connection to the feed line, it is ve= ry useful to start with low power (hence low voltage) so as not to stress= the various components unnecessarily. One thing I like about this unit is that it can be used for ordinary hand-= sent CW. Presumably QRSS would not be a problem. Also, can this rig be= used for some of the more sophisticated modes? I do not think I have a= complete set of the e-mails of this thread. Please will someone enlighte= n me. Thanks. 73 John Rabson=20 F5VLF 58800 Cervon France JN17vg
