QSB is evident on the signal, varying from a Q2 to a Q5 copy. Cycle time= is a few minutes. Funnily the NDB "Z" seems to have almost the opposite QSB pat= tern. Received on a low SW-NE peaking delta loop with 4 metre sides into a simpl= e balanced preamplifier using 2 x 2N5109's to an IC-R75 with no CW filter fi= tted. I have been looking in vein for US signals on 600m so many nights only to finally stumble over one by accident just prior to closing the radio... Now 0120UTC and still there, Q5... 0125UTC and switched to the 25:1 wideband matched inverted-L to get rid of= the possibly counterproductive loop antenna directivity: Even better S/N, this= is just amazing. 0131UTC and reaching another QSB peak at Q5. Getting kind of late (early morning) so will have to end here. Once again amazing signals, just like= a 1W ERP EU station at 1500kms or so. Paul-Henrik / OH1LSQ Vaasa / KP03SD
