My 500 tx was built from the junk box. The xtals are 1945/50 vintage. The FET came out of an old marine tx. My IC 706 has output on 500 and just needs a filter to clean the sig up and a FET amp added to get some qro rf out.This rig then covers from 500 kcs - 146mcs all mode capability and costs less. de mal/g3kev ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ken" To: Sent: Wednesday, December 09, 2009 5:09 PM Subject: LF: Re: TX-2200A > More appliance operators Mal? > > 73 > Ken > M0KHW > > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Warren Ziegler" > To: > Sent: Wednesday, December 09, 2009 3:30 PM > Subject: LF: TX-2200A > > > > Interesting new rig offered by Waters and Stanton - the TX-2200A 100 > > Watt class D transmitter for 136kHz - VFO controlled with receiver > > muting. > > Made in Japan, relatively pricey though at 690 GBP! > > > > http://wsplc.com/pdf/TX-2200A.pdf > > > > > > > > 73 Warren K2ORS > > WD2XGJ > > WD2XSH/23 > > WE2XEB/2 > > WE2XGR/1 > > > >
