You are right Mal and=A0we need more Ops on 500. We must make the 500kc/s=
 a viable band for Amateur Radio World Wide. It will be a sorry day if thi=
s allocation is not made permanently part of the International Amateur Rad=
io spectrum.

Living near Luton and not too far from Duxford we have the delight and exc=
itement to see from our back garden in the Summer months, many old war bir=
ds in the overhead head this weekend we had a B17 cruising towards Duxford=
 just to the north of the Luton/Stansted special rules zone and the week=
 end before we saw a Catalina all at or around minimum altitude. Being wit=
hin about a mile=A0of RAF=A0Henlow which gets at least one or two low leve=
l fly pasts from the BoB squadron during the year we get a ring-side seat=
 to the Lanc and Spitfire just an incredible sight and sound..=20
The B29 is a rare bird are any flying in Europe=A0now? Good luck with the=
 radio collection.
