Also, at about 0040utc, heard a CW beacon sending "GM4SLV test" on 501.5kHz, reaching 559 at the peaks of slow QSB lasting several minutes. It is quite noticeable how more distant stations (SM6BHZ also) have a much "smoother" fading characteristic, not unlike 136kHz, compared to stations at a few 100kms, which vary wildly in level over shorter periods of time.
