Richard, Andy, LF,

I can hear the G4JNT beacon clearly in South Devon with a=20= 2m tuned loop during the daytime, and that's probably more like 250km. G= 3XIZ is also a strong daytime signal, again at over 250km. I also heard G3GN= R very strongly calling G8BKE at 2140 utc on Tuesday 5 May, but I don't=20= know his QTH.

The best way of getting started is to set up a s= ked via this reflector and take it from there. You can also look at the G3XZ= M and G4WGT online "grabbers" to see if there is any activity.

73, Dave G3WCB at temorary QTH, Dartmouth S Devo= n.

Dear Richard,

With only about 40 odd NoVs in existence, and not all active, there prob= ably
are not many within 100km of you! But rather more than 100km is not= unusual
during daytime, so don't worry too much.

Cheers, Ji= m Moritz
