Under current conditions (lot of QRN and QSB) ThrobX2 seemes a bit better th= an PSK31. MFSK4 wouldn't print last night. The night before it was the same until all the sudden I had a perfect print. Maybe tuning / synchronisation is rather critical for MFSK4. The bandwidth of MFSK4 seems about 150Hz, so i will not use it for transmit. PSK31 and ThrobX2 are well below 100Hz. I will try to decode the signals starting 21:00 UTC. 73, Rik ON7YD - OR7T Quoting Graham : > Final set up , power ~ 30 watts per stream > same text , 60 sec repeat .. > > > PSK31 Cent audio 2200 Hz =3D 503.20k cent rf > > MFSK4 Cent Audio 2000 Hz =3D 503,00k cent rf > > ThrobX2 Cent Audio 1700 Hz =3D 502.70 k cent rf > > > Thanks for reports via email, throb, is showing well as it has 'no' > lock up time ? > > Graham > > -------------------------------------------------- > From: "Graham" > Sent: Sunday, May 10, 2009 7:40 PM > To: > Subject: LF: 3 mode Beacon 503.00 502.700 503.2 1800 gmt > later > >> >> All, >> >> Just added psk31 on 2200 hz audio >> >> G .. >> >> -------------------------------------------------- >> From: "Graham" >> Sent: Sunday, May 10, 2009 7:18 PM >> To: >> Subject: LF: Dual mode Beacon 503.00 502.700 1800 gmt > later >> >>> >>> All >>> >>> Running MFSK 4 and ThrobX2 >>> >>> Tx set >>> >>> Dial 501.000 >>> mode usb >>> >>> FLDIGI software >> >> PSK31 Cent audio 2200 Hz >>> >>> MFSK4 Cent Audio 2000 Hz >>> >>> ThrobX2 Cent Audio 1700 Hz >>> >>> Power 40 watts per stream >>> Running loop at 60 seconds repeat >>> >>> No rx due to drive below vox/alc level >>> >>> Reports welcome >>> >>> Graham >>> >>> G0NBD / IO83LK >>> >>> >>> >>> >>> >> >> >> >>> >>> No virus found in this incoming message. >>> Checked by AVG - www.avg.com >>> Version: 8.5.287 / Virus Database: 270.12.23/2106 - Release Date: 05/09/= 09 >>> 06:54:00 >>> >> >> >> > > > >> >> No virus found in this incoming message. >> Checked by AVG - www.avg.com >> Version: 8.5.287 / Virus Database: 270.12.23/2106 - Release Date: =20 >> 05/09/09 06:54:00 >>
