I often work Russian xband 500/7033 Khz and 500/137 Khz. on CW. I likewise work the USA/Canada xb on 7033 at night time, 7 Mhz is a good choice and usually the propagation is reliable worldwide during night time on this band. Other freqs that I use are 3533 Khz for local and EU QSO'S. I have worked about 30 EU countries to date. Over the years I have used most bands for XB qso's inc 144 Mhz. 73 and fire away de mal/g3kev ----- Original Message ----- From: "Richard Newstead" To: Sent: Sunday, May 10, 2009 1:03 PM Subject: LF: Cross-band contacts > Dear MFers > > A few of the SOTA crowd have started taking an interest in 500kHz since > I mentioned it on their reflector. That seems like a good way to get a few people interested. > > 73 > > Richard > G3CWI (currently untangling wire for use as radials) > > -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- No virus found in this incoming message.
