Hi Roelof,

While I am prepared to concede that dyslexia may be the cause of the examples I quote, it does not excuse the misuse of the language.

As an illustration the sentences "I have taken their money."  and "I have taken there, money." have entirely different meanings (ignore the comma) in spoken English and in modern useage, where punctuation seems to be "optional", written English may be equally ambiguous.

The ability to produce reports that are definitive and accurate may be vital to many roles.

Hello All,

This are fine examples of dyslexia, a far more common problem than generally known.
It has nothing do to with intelligence as such, as some of the most gifted persons on earth "suffered" from it.
One example that springs to my mind was Winston Churchill.

Text control won't help much as "there" and their" are genuine English words.

Reading and writing is a skill just like walking.
You won't judge someone's intelligence by the way he walks, won't you!

Best regards,
Roelof Bakker, pa0rdt

(And yes, dyslexia is part of my daytime job!)
