As the 'dotted sidebands' did not=20 show  on the grabbers last night .. the=20 504 carrier was  +20 db over the noise floor on 'spec-lab and a general= =20 band of noise could be seen spreading each way from 504 with a slight null c= lose=20 in ... may be the skip distance is quite well defined at the moment ? , the=20 trace on 502.350  was too low to  copy by ear, but showing quite w= ell=20 at Birmingham, It was  showing the usual long qsb cycle at my qth with=20 total loss in the mid cycle .. I assumed it was a cw cq call by the regular=20 blocks , with a periodic gap !
