On your main point - if 137 is so good for worldwide QSOs, then I suggest you go there, now, with all haste, and leave 500 for those who are more interested in learning something, more meaningful than "wx sunny = qsl via buro = 73" I don't intend trying 137 in the near future, after all, I might not be able to cope with all the high power QRM.
