He says it's a Redifon G474, but the Internet has nothing to say on that subject, so perhaps it's known as something else. Here is his description: "It is a Redifon G474 emergency transmitter which covers from 400kHz to 2.182MHz.  It is a 19" rack mount type. It apparently operates off 24V DC and has a pair of 6146s in the final.  The exciter is solid state and the driver seems to be a BFY51. The metering includes PA current and antenna current with a thermocouple ammeter. I am told it runs 100W on MCW and 100W pep on AM.  The modulator is solid state with the usual anode-screen modulation. Redifon was absorbed into Thompson-CSF and then Thales so a bit difficult to get any data on the equipment." Does anyone recognise this? Is there any info on the web? Mike, G3XDV ==========
