Obviously narrow bandwidths work best and although beacons are generally at the 503.5 to 504k section of the band, there are still a few station who presumably using crystal control who are further down the allocation. Any signs of life on your screen can be quickly checked against: _Shetland grabber_ (http://www.gm4slv.org.uk/grabber.htm) Unfortunately there seems to be no equivalent on the East coast of the USA or in VO1 for us to see if our signals are making it over to you.
