Last weekennd in between DIYing, I had a quick listen on 40 m and went back to a G6 two-letter call who was calling CQ Contest. I signed Foxtrot 5 Victor Lima Foxtrot. He came back to me: "G9VLF you are 59 etc" With a call of that antiquity, he should have known that G9 calls are not issued to the ordinary radio amateur. Also, as he got my prefix wrong I was not 59. 73 John F5VLF -- No virus found in this incoming message. Checked by AVG Free Edition.
