I've only just got my 500 kHz kit back together, and I was sending with no side tone - makes my CW a bit ropey! It's been an interesting evening, and congratulations to Rik on getting going on 500 before all our NOVs expire! Just shows what can be done with a bit more power. 73, Dave G3WCB IO91RM -----Original Message----- From: owner-rsgb_lf_group@blacksheep.org [mailto:owner-rsgb_lf_group@blacksheep.org]On Behalf Of John Pumford-Green GM4SLV Sent: 29 January 2008 21:16 To: rsgb_lf_group@blacksheep.org Subject: Re: LF: QRV on 503kHz On Tue, 29 Jan 2008 20:30:08 -0000 "Dave G3WCB" wrote: > Hi, Rik, John, > > Rik's signal is 539 here, with the typical 500 kHz QSB. It's great to stir up some new activity. Rik's announcement of impending operation got me out into the darkness with a torch to re-tune the ATU. If you've seen the picture of my QTH in this month's RadCom you can appreciate just how dark it can be here at night! Cheers, John
