At my home QTH I have an enormous unstable carrier just above 500 kHz, about 6 kHz wide with a hum-like sound. It wipes everything out except some DI beacons. Marco - Indeed KK7KA's WOLF decodes signals which are *much* weaker than those you can see on a waterfall display. So the waterfall is not a good tuning aid for WOLF signals; but it helps to check if a receiver is connected at all. Cheers, Wolf DL4YHF .
