WOLF is really aimed at extreme weak-signal DX, and has worked well on 136kHz, so might be a possibility for trans-atlantic operation on 500kHz. I left the beacon running overnight, partly to see if the frequency stability of IC718 + transverter was adequate, which it was. I modified the EER transverter design to use the frequency reference from the IC718, in order to eliminate the differential drift between two separate oscillators. Cheers, Jim Moritz 73 de M0BMU
