Vertical rectangular loop 600 feet perimiter abt 80 ft high at top and 7 feet at bottom above ground resonated on 500 khz band, EAST/WEST. or alternative 1/4 wave inv L for 500 khz, 100 ft vertical and rest horizontal also used for Transmitting, 50 ohm matching unit at base of vertical. Each antenna selectable and fed via 50ohm coax to a Datong UC/1 upconverter (has preselector)and two IF outputs 144 or 28 mhz. I use the 144 mhz output to a Icom 746 transceiver. The two outputs can be used at the same time if required to separate receivers. I have a small Wellbrook 1m diameter circular loop, which has a preamp and that works well but well down on the big antennas, sig/noise is good I have other receivers also suitable for LF/MF if required. The 136 khz antenna consists of 3 x inv L spaced around a tower at 100 ft high, all vertical leads joined at the bottom to a matching atu for 50 ohms For 160m the antenna at present is a one wave inv L up at 100ft Total of 3 masts in use at this qth, plus high trees around the perimiter of the field. de G3KEV/IO94SH
