This one lasted about 15 minutes and call signs, two sets of signal reports (to report changing conditions), outdoor temperatures and other bits of information were successfully exchanged. There was less QRN at XGR/2 than Tuesday night making copy on this end somewhat easier...although signals were still very weak. Finbar appeared to have very good copy. There was fairly rapid (about 10 second) QSB that would take signals into the noise but in short order they popped back up again. This QSO happened to take place at the same time as Tuesday night's QSO (not planned that way), although Finbar reported hearing XGR/2 in beacon mode at least a half hour earlier (0030Z). More study of this path should prove interesting now that we know Tuesday night's QSO wasn't a one time occurance. Jay W1VD WD2XNS WE2XGR/2
